We absolutely love this brand! Svaha was founded by two women who worked at the American webshop ThinkGeek. After they became a mother, they noticed that in mainstream kids clothing you couldn't find any clothes that represent the full range of topics children are interested in. Why can't you find girls' clothing with astronauts or maths equations? Why don't boys' clothes have cats or butterflies on them? They created a unique line of apparel to deliver this mission!

Svaha wants to show everyone that these crazy gender stereotypes are completely outdated and want to teach kids that it’s okay to like anything they want. The founders want to prove that STEAM concepts are amazingly cool and completely accessible to everyone! Their brand and product line confront gender stereotypes and empower people to embrace their passions.

The clothes feature bright, bold designs with STEAM-themes, sports-themes, and non-traditional colors. Plus, the products are made from 100% organic, super-soft cotton that feels as good as it looks. Since their experience in the industry has given the Svaha team a variety of trusted connections in the manufacturing world, they have chosen to use a mixture of both US-based and Indian manufacturers in order to provide the best quality for the lowest price. All manufactures are ethically sourced, and (of course!) sweatshop-free. They do not want to bring happiness at the expense of someone else. Every source of the materials for all of their clothing comes from workers that are both fairly paid and treated, and they ensure that the resources used are sustainably grown. Most of their clothes are made in India, in a clothing factory owned by a friend of Jaya's, the founder, who also grew up in India.
