Why we need data

Fairy Positron collects and processes the personal data of customers for customer and order management (including customer administration, order/delivery follow-up, invoicing, solvency follow-up and sending marketing and personalized advertising).

Reasons for data processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6.1. (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR or GDPR), i.e. we need data to store orders, accept payments, process shipments, contact you if necessary and to send newsletters.

Share with others

If this is necessary to achieve the stated purposes, the personal data of the customer will be shared with other companies (see below) within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly connected with Fairy Positron or with any other partner of Fairy Positron;

The companies below guarantee that they will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.

  • Shopify : www.fairypositron.be run on Shopify's webshop platform
  • Sendcloud / bpost / DPD : they deliver the packages of Fairy Positron
  • PayPal / Mollie / Klarna / Shopify : they manage the payments to Fairy Positron
  • Back In Stock : they will send you an email when an item is back in stock, if you have explicitly requested it.
  • Stamped : for reviews and our loyalty program Smarty Points.
  • Email: for personal emails we use ProtonMail , for newsletters we use Omnisend .

retention period

The personal data processed for customer management will be kept for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including in the field of accounting).

If you have only provided us with information for a Back in stock email or for subscribing to a newsletter, you can have this information removed by sending an email to hallo@fairypositron.be .

Right of access, improvement, erasure, limitation, objection and transferability of personal data

The Customer has the right to inspect his personal data at all times and can correct them or have them corrected if they are incorrect or incomplete, have them removed, have their processing limited and object to the processing of personal data concerning him on the basis of Article 6.1 (f), including profiling based on those provisions.

In addition, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form) of his personal data and to have the personal data forwarded to another company.

Email provider

As an email provider, we have chosen ProtonMail , whose core business is privacy. Every email sent to us is encrypted and inaccessible to ProtonMail.

Cookies

In order to optimize our webshop and to get a better view of the number of visitors, which pages are visited the most, etc., in addition to functional cookies from Shopify, we use Stamped and Swym Wishlist Plus (e.g. to save your shopping cart or the displaying reviews), also analytics cookies from Shopify . All this data is anonymous and is not used for profiling. We do not use social media cookies or pixels to track you. We only use our social media profiles to keep in touch with our followers and customers and to promote our products.
